Collecting The Motorhome
- On your motorhome check-out tour we will show you how to use:
- The motorhome keys (cab/ignition key, habitation door key and external lockers key, bike rack arms)
- The driving controls
- Dash board controls
- Gas locker (and that you know how to use the gas and how to replace a bottle)
- The vehicle fuel-filler cap (all our campervans and motorhomes are diesel)
- The fresh water-filler cap (be careful not to get the water and fuel caps mixed up)
- The waste-water tap/lever
- The fresh-water drain tap (only if you’re touring during the winter, as you might need to drain down the water tank in case it freezes)
- The toilet-cassette hatch (and that you know how to empty the toilet cassette)
- The electric hook-up point (and how to connect and disconnect the mains to the campervan or motorhome)
- The bike rack
- The campervan or motorhome control panel
- The refrigerator
- Oven/oven with grill
- Hot water system
- Blown air heating system
- How to make the bed's
- The toilet and washroom
- The fire extinguisher and smoke alarm
- The motorhome manuals (should require any further information about your rental campervan or motorhome)
The diesel fuel is expected to be at the same level as when you collected it (the level is also noted on your rental agreement), a fuel penalty charge applies if you return with the fuel under.
Adblue is supplied full and it must be returned back full or a re-filling charge will apply.
Cleaning facilities are available at our London depot should you require them to cleaning the rental motorhome. To take advantage of this you must arrive at least a minimum of 1 hour before your check in time, should you need to use this facility, if you are late or do not arrive a minimum of 1 hour before your check in time, you will not be able to use the cleaning facilities.
